Just some 35% tint to match the rears and some 285/70/17 Falkens…
    IMG_2438.jpg 2024 TRD ORP….33” Falkens…easy on the gas…62-65 MPH…getting 25 MPG…highway average during a trip.

Calculate tire size difference…and it looks like 25.8725 MPG.

Pretty impressive…NOTE IT’S HIGHWAY MPG…per the title of the post.

What's your average mpg per tank, or overall?

Easy highway numbers are cherry picking.

Well the tank appears to still be full so that must not have been a very long “trip” lol

Hand calculated I've gotten 25.4, 24.4, 24, so it's not entirely impossible to consistently get within that range.

lol cherry picking? Not quite…if you go on a long road trip, that’s your actual MPG…

Average MPG per tank will vary depending on the amount of time on the highway / city…

‘Nonetheless, I haven’t had anything less than 20.5 per tank since I bought it…

Yep. If you’re not constantly hammering it, those numbers are totally realistic…

Filled it up, and got right on the highway, and drove roughly 50 miles…

The trick is to not get it in too much boost. While it's not as fun, it's totally possible. Took a trip up and over the mountain last week which included a WOT pass and it definitely brought down mileage, but not as bad as I thought. Haven't hand calculated that tank yet as I have two other vehicles I drive, so it'll be interesting to see. Still got two more passes up and down that mountain to do before fueling up.

Yeppers…I think people get misconstrued. This is like 99% highway…and /or back country state routes, where you’re doing like 55 at times…key is…don’t hammer it. Keep a steady pedal…but that’s how I drive anyway…

That’s more than I was expecting! Also really impressive for 33’s.

Wow that’s quite the endorsement. It definitely sounds like most people have only good things to say about the 4th gen so far.

I believe this is the 4th gen is the best gen person. I like the MPG update and still love how this truck looks with 33's / 285s stock. I saw one in person the other day on 285s and it looks awesome. Anything less is unacceptable. Now I'm eager to hear how the hybrid does.

I hope all you 4th gen guys are logging your tanks on Fuelly; will be good data to review in several years when I'm considering a new truck.
