    Build thread in sig...
if you loosen all 6 bed bolts, you will have some play to shift it around. the success you have will be dependant on what direction your bed has freedom of movement in. the tollerances on these trucks as far as bed and body alignment goes is not very tight, so this method may work for some but not others. it's easy enough if you have a t-55 torx bit, so you might as well go for it.

I planned to install d-rings anyhow ... So I'm gonna try this option ...
Either way I'm gonna do bump stops eventually

If you still have troubles getting rid of those 16" steelies ..lmk I will take them
I'm trying to put together a set of highway tires for road trips .. Save some gas on long hauls ;)

    Problem solved ... For now

I was able to shift the bed forward slightly .. This allowed the needed clearance and the factory bump stops are now the first thing to touch :yay:

Still plan to lengthen bump stops

Idea : I want to add length to bump plates (on frame)
Maybe use some grade 8 bolts to lengthen the plates
It's hard to explain my idea with words
I will attempt to craft this idea ..and take pics and post
Hope to have time this week to do this mod

It really didn't change the body gap much at all ... To the eye, you can't even tell

Still plenty of room for body flex , I see no concern with potential impact

I highly recommend this free mod ...
