Can I fit 33" tires with a 2.5" lift and some trimming?

    Or should I go 265 75 16?

Im getting the left next week

285/75/16 would probably be best with only slight trimming if any. 265s are too small IMO

Had 33's before and never had a bad issue with rubbing unless we were going up driveways or tucking the tires while flexing! all i have is a 3" lift

Big hit in gas mileage though? And with my set up I have in the basement waiting to be installed lots of trimming will need to be done. Eibach's with 5100's at .85. rear 1.5 AAL and Light Racing UCA's. Stock 17 inch sports wheels.

Not that bad of a hit as you would think! and i didnt have to do any trimming at all. Its wierd, cause a lot of people say that they had to do a lot of trimming! I think it has a lot to do with the backspacing on the rims as well! When i had my last set i was running a spacer lift and i still didnt need to trim! Now the spacers are gone and i love it!:D

So I figured I would run the 33's in the summer on some 17x9 wheels. What backspacing and offset should I get? And is it okay to run the summer wheels and tires without the TPMS?

Need? No. Would it be a good idea? Yeah, if you have the cash laying around.

I'm probably going to get to it eventually.

I had to do major trimming to plastic and body mounts to get mine to fit. I have a 3" spacer lift with 17x9 wheels with 4.50" backspacing.

33s and 285s with 2-3 inch lift you will rub at full compression/turns or bumps without trimming. (backing out of your driveway)
