That's the typical lift most people go for! It doesn't look weird at all. Welcome by the way!

Can you fit 33s without replacing UCA's? I want to put 33s on my Tacoma and I just bought 17 inch rims but I feel like I've read that the tires are too wide and will rub on the UCA

I have a 3" on 33s. No trimming if they're 255s. Wide 33s will require trimming and CMC. UCAs are worth the money. Do your lift the right way.

285/70/17s won't rub the ucas depending on the backspacing of the wheels.

All the usual diesel truck mods- fuel system upgrade, programmer, CAI, intake manifold, 60MM stealth turbo
Also if you plan on anything above 2.5" then plan on ucas. If you don't do it now it'll bite you in the ass and cost you a lot more at probably the most inopportune time. Good luck and congrats.

Uh maybe if he really flexes the suspension offroad, but that wasn't his question.

That's actually because the suspension doesn't compress properly like it should. But yeah man me neither with my shitty spacer lift.

Just try with it off, take some turns and see if you're okay with it. If not, pop it back in. Doesn't take long to remove it.
