Shit man everybody here is rt. There's so many different combinations you can try. The wheels make a huge difference as far as rubbing goes as well as tires and the type of tread on the tires i.e. at vs. mt. No one here has given a wrong answer it just depends on the combination you try. I had 285's on 17x9 wheels with 4.5 bs and -12 offset and couldn't get them to rub the cab mount but they were at tires if they'd have been n agressive mt they may have rubbed. The safe bet to insure no rubbing and a 33" tire is the 255's IMO. I've got 2.5" lift with 255'80/17's and no cmc and no rubbing with stock uca's (for now) with good alignment numbers. You really haven't been told a wrong answer it just depends on which combo you choose and how you use your truck.

I know the OP was asking about 33's. I don't know for sure but from what I've seen on here if you wnt to use 33x12.50's they will take a cmc and a bit of clearancing. Idk perhaps some other gentlemen on here have experience with this size

285 is a 32.7" tire. I have 285/70R 17 on a 17x9 wheel. have Fox coilovers set at 2.5 with Total Chaos UCAs. I had to trim plastic and doing the Cab Mount Chop this week. It rubs pretty hard at full turn in reverse.20170302_001501.jpg 20170302_170922.jpg
