the problem with wheel spacers is you will trade rubbing on one place for another. Instead of rubbing the uca you will rub in the cab mount and front bumper.

Yes, this^ this is why im gonna just keep it stock and wait to save up for westcott kit, wheels, and tires at the same time and cut once the new wears off. biggest hold up for me is finding the time it takes to get a DRT fab CMR done. Not even gonna bother starting with the CMC. then all the other cutting isn't all that bad (viper, pinch weld, plastic etc.)

I have Ray 10s on my 1st gen. Love em, almost got the blaze 10, but dig the SSW Raptors looking like RPF1s that I won’t be mad if it meets a rock haha.

In regards to the pinch weld, on the 1st gen the first two swings of a 5lb sledge were daunting, after that, swing it til it doesn’t rub anymore, lol.

Here is My 2018 Trd pro with a Westcott lift Icon rxt rear leaf pack on 17” Volk wheels -10 on 285/70R17 with Spc UCA.. no CMC and no trimming on the bumper only rubs minimal when going up the driveway while the wheels are at a certain angle CA6573EE-C96B-4758-8FF3-6C7E4BD587C4.jpg

I’ve been running 285s on my 18 pro for 5 years. They are amazing. You will have zero regrets once you bump up in size and I doubt you will ever go back down.

Any issues running the RXT pack with the OEM Pro rear shocks? I’ve been wondering about over extending the stock shock due to the extra down travel with the RXT leaf pack. I believe @Icon_Adrian mentioning it was alright to do so in a thread awhile back.

I’d prefer to run the RXT pack vs add a leaf, I have a SmartCap + 150-250lbs of gear when I head out hunting. Stock leafs are not cutting it.

** Also, any of you folks with the Westcott collar up front have a bumper/winch set up? Got a SSO hybrid order in, worried the extra weights gonna be an issue.. **

I originally just had the block from Wescott, but did not like it . I also have a quad when I would load it up ride was terrible. And no issues so far with the RXT
    I ordered them from here:

You ever just pay extra for Pro suspension to turn around and put the cheapest lift you can find on it?

Yeah, same. OP, if I were you I would just buy an OR Premium and put the extra cash toward a set of Fox 2.5 RR's. You'll end up with better suspension, the lift you want and still all of the bells and whistles of the Pro (if you get the OR Premium package).

Stock leaf pack is the same, sure the newer pros have a block in the leaf pack. The OEM pro shocks are retained, the leaf pack is replaced. Westcott Preload collar / Eiback springs, you’re still using the same pro shock. Not sure where the replacing with cheaper suspension comment is coming from.

OP if you want a pro, get a pro.

I said cheapest lift, not cheapest suspension. The TRD Pro already has a factory lift and the Westcott lift isn't giving you any extra travel. Using a preload collar instead of a spacer is better for the life of the suspension but not hugely dissimilar at the end of the day (re: travel) and certainly inferior to a coilover.

If you want a Pro for the sake of a Pro, go for gold. I'm not judging anyone who has a Pro. They're sick trucks. I'm just encouraging OP to dive a little deeper in to what it is they actually want and possible ways to achieve it -- given that they don't yet own the Pro and are considering buying one. IMO if you want the big tires and you want to wheel without rubbing _and_ you're cash constrained, spending the extra $$ on a good suspension setup will go further. If they want to ride a Pro and have a cosmetic lift for the mall, send it I'm onboard with it. If OP reads my opinion and still wants a Pro, I hope they enjoy it!

Touché, valid point. Went with all the bits on my 1st gen. Not here to argue with you. It’s all about matching your truck to what you’re going to do at the end of the day.

Anyways, I’m off to the mall. Sure am glad I got those collars, need to clear those speed bumps. Haha, all in good fun

I have a 2021 Pro with the Wescott kit on. It's been wheeling state land up at the top of the mitten. I would love 33s but the stocks are fine for everything but sand. At least for me.

Looks great except the real wheels need some poke to match the front. Reverse staggered look I'm not a fan of nor wheel spacers.

Would it by ideal to match the back with the same size spacers?
Does it effect the wear on the tires or potentially cause any damage?
