Ok yep, 35s for sure. I love my 35s in every way. My truck is not going to be my daily forever, and I do wheel it. I do prefer 35s and I have done all the cutting, welding, everything myself. So...... for me it was worth the effort and I also like wrenching. But for the OP I would say do what ever your little heart desires

Ok so talking about 35s..... once you cut your fenders there goes your inner fender liner leaving your intake opening exposed. So a snorkel is pretty standard equipment.

You can do whatever you want with your money. If your goal is just look cool, then I don't see anything with just using wheel spacers, and ebay spacer lifts. That's the most cost effective way to achieve a "cool" look.

The problem is when a kid just wants to look cool, and then he spends 10K on Icon/Kings/Fox, BMC, KM3s/UCAs, and whatever else. All that just to have some instagram pics and to show-off at Cars-n-coffee or SEMA.

Who is that a problem for? This is a site dedicated to modifying a small japanese pickup truck, there is a thread for stock rigs as well so maybe you would be happier there.

My wifes got fake boobies, they serve no purpose other than looking great. And I see absolutely no problem with that 10k spent.

    1) it's a waste of money
    2) it's a waste of economy-wide resources that could have been put to a better use.
    3) Most people cannot afford to put 10K in cash an will resort to Credit Cards/Debt Spirals. How many people would commit to this foolishness if credits cards didn't exist?

    4) It's not the most efficient use of resources for the stated objective. e.g. $10K in mods for a purpose built level-10-rated-trail rig that will never see the trails

5)Probably wouldn't make a wife or serious girlfriend very happy because most women understandably don't see the value in it.

6)How much of that gear is going to be buried in the landfill when the owner decides he is bored and just wants something new? Check out your local landfill, it's full of useless junk people bought because they were bored, or because it was a "deal" or they had a coupon.

    7) all the above affect you and me by a) pushing up prices of aftermarket gear b) contributing to a waste of the earth's limited resources, and c) destroying the earth's environment by wasted cabon-based activity use to fulfill someone's sole want to be "cool".

    False analogy.

There is really no other way to get a boob job properly. You can go to a hotel "Doctor", but would be excessively dangerous.

The right analogy would be this.

you have a great marriage and a loyal, beautiful, responsible and dedicated wife. However, instead of just having her get a boob job, you Divorce/cheat on her for another big boobed women, and then you have to pay 18 years of alimony and child-support, lose half of your assets, have your kids hate you forever, and have your reputation ruined. $100s of thousands of dollars in lost assets, monthly payments or $10K boob job.

I disagree. I have 33's. No pinch weld work, no CMC, and no rubbing. It's been done quite frequently with these trucks.
