Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
Like the title says, I can not make up my mind yet.

    I drive a 2015 TRD Pro

Who has what tire? I am almost done on my stockers, I have been planning on 255/85r16's for a long time.. BUT Dave's Pro really makes me want 35's.

    Who all runs
    255/85r16
    305/70r16
    315/75r16
    And what are your experiences?

I plan to re-gear, but would rather not do it twice.

I play offroad, but I tow a lot as well and my Tacoma is not a dedicated wheeler. It is also not my only DD. When my 85 is not broke I drive it a lot, same with the 2017.

I would like to try Coopers STT Pro, the 255's are not available so probably KM2's in that size.

My gas mileage is already horrible. Not a huge concern, but was part of the leaning towards 255's in the past.

I have 295 75 16's and they look beefy and fill the wheel well really nice. I had 285's before and these just look right.

    Interesting!

    What tires are they?

I hate metric tire sizes lol. Only because they vary so much by brand om what is available.

    33x11.5 roughly?

Did you cut flares and all? I did have a set in a goofy size i think they were 295/70r17 actually off the wifes 4runner on my 2013, they rubbed a lot.

    Th
    At is awesome!

Ill flatten my pinch weld but do not want to fucker up my floor pan haha.

Plus the 37's bump up another price bracket, and I am supercharged. I doubt my diff's can take larger than 35's for any length of time.

I already feel like I will be on borrowed rime with my foot and 35's lol

33's likely not an issue, but from my old yota's 33's always meant 35's were next.

Trying to decide on gears 4.56 is a little deep for 33's and 4.30's a little tall for 35's.

Hence the reason I decided to open this thread haha. I am indecisive at the moment

My truck hauled ass with 35s on 4.88 gearing. That's kinda why i wanna go back down. Or maybe I'll get less aggressive 37s when these wear out.

If you have to ask this question than probably best to stick with 33s

    Are you n/a? Auto?

I am supercharged and manual, so I was thinking a little taller gears.

I run 4.88's in my old yota's, because I am convinced that 5.29 is too weak. If i had more power I would go taller

I agree, 35 s are a much bigger headache than they appear at first. I've been running 35" ko2 s with 4:88 for about 2 years and the truck has been a constant headache ever since. Snorkel, cmc, fender flares, pinch weld, body lift, spacers and the list goes on. Stick with 33 s and the appropriate gearing.

    So does mine. Lol

Idk why though. Plenty of positve reports, but I had been hesitant even though I picked it. Here I am.

    I
I love the truck, so I would hate to ruin it.

I could always go up after all, but after cutting for 35's, 33's would likely be out of the question

I’m curious what you mean by this. Are these all things changing to 35s effected?

Everything makes sense to me but the snorkel, is it becuse you had to remove the fender lining?
