Why not just put an 8" lift on while you're at it? Depends on location, but mall curbs around here range anywhere from standard 6" to 2'.... better clearance

lift height actually does relate to approach angle so that's a good suggestion! +1 for me OP do it!

A lot of hating for a 6” with 33” tires when Hawaii have some of the ugly Tacoma lifted.

6”, 33’s, regearing to 4.88’s next week. Oh and I’m from Hawaii. :notsure:

6” gave me better approach/departure angles while camping and fishing over lava rocks. Many would say I could always do bumpers, but as you all know freight to Hawaii ain’t the cheapest, and I’m not at the point where I’m ready to drag my brand new truck on lavas.

Edit: I forgot to add I originally had a 3” bilstein ome888 front combo, with headstrong rear bilstein extended shocks paired with Dakar’s. In 3 months I snapped the front shock on the passenger side. I couldn’t make it to fishing spots I normally have gone before in my old 3rd gen runner (3” suspension 2” body) so I took it as a sign time to do a drop bracket to enjoy the outdoors. To each their own tho. Just how some guys have zero complaints with their auto trans and others complain :)

Looks great AlwaysHi, much better approach, departure and break over angles than mine. I don't get the hate here, too many sheep.

    Thanks man.
I think they refer to the really wide wheel setup a lot of the guys use here.

The part I don’t like about it is how that immediately makes Hawaii a stereotype on that every Toyota will have that same setup. Shiiiit.

Your truck looks dope. Let the haters hate, they bored with their lives and need something to do.
