I've got a set of 17x9" wheels, -12 offset, and 285/75/17 tires. (33x11.5). My front lift is on backorder from Dobinsons and I'm just told the date for.the container to show up to port was pushed back ANOTHER week.

Front is stock, rear has Dobinsons 2.25" lift leafs. I understand it'll rub sometimes, but my tires are getting a bit rough. Will the truck be DRIVEABLE if I put the wheels/tires on while I wait for the lift?

    BTW, it's a 2011 TRD OR.

    THANKS!

Not really. You likely won’t be able to turn.

Driveable, sure. To what extent, that is another question.. I would imagine you would have rubbing issues without spacers as the UCA will probably rub. The wheels may also be too wide and may possibly hit your fender and other front end parts while articulating the front wheels. Test fit them and check.

In my personal experience I had to use 1.5 inch wheel spacers in order to stay off of the control arm and without the lift rubbed on the cab mount and the fender. I would strongly recommend not doing this. Wait for your lift to come in and do it right. The truck will probably be "driveable" but your turns will have to be significantly wider and I would go as far as to say that it will either cause significant damage to your tires or truck as well as unsafe to be on the road with consideration to your turn radius. At the very least just order a rough country leveling kit for the time being and that should help the situation. https://www.roughcountry.com/toyota-leveling-lift-kit-744c.html

Thanks for the replies. I'll just wait it out. I would test fit it, but I don't want to have the tires mounted until I'm ready to swap, because I'm reusing my tpms sensors.

The wheel is wider with an aggressive offset, you have 4" taller tires from stock, they are also 1" wider, it's gonna rub terribly.
