"KD" posted a YouTube video called "Fitting 33's stock" showing 285/75R/16's on his stock height 17. He needed to heat gun and push some fender plastic, but other than that no real trimming and no rubbing.

What do you think? And would spacers help?

I think with a lot of manipulations down there, it could be done. It may not rub while daily driving, but im sure at full lock there will be some rubbing

Can you explain to me what "...sometimes they fit and sometimes they don't...They both rub" means?

Well the 33's probably dont fit unless you do a lot of work .... 285s will fit ... they both will rub.

Really depends on the wheels/offset and lifted or not....33's I doubt work but I'm sure someone is running them. Plus the 33s are pretty heavy so going to impact drivability. 285s are heavy as well ...

Clear stock (no lift) OR and PRO with very minimal plastic trimming.

If u plan on staying on pavement you might be alright. Spacers help? No sir they will make it far worse. Id stick with a 265/75/ if i was planning on staying stock height.

The problem you're going to have is that most 285s are not going to rub on the fender as much as they will rub the UCA, it being mostly a function of the offset of stock OR wheels. Pro wheels would probably allow a better fit re: suspension, as they have a more neutral offset.
