There is definite cutting. You're running the same width as 35s.

Lots of cutting. I've cut a bunch for 285 width you're going 315 width

Ok I’m currently running 285 65 18. Would you say that with my current lift that it is maximum tire size without any cutting required ?

I'm surprised you didn't need to cut for that lol. But yes you will definitely need to cut a lot with a 12.5" width

I've heard people get lucky and not need to cut for 285, but everyone needs to cut for 315
