Good info. Of course that info is semi outdated as it went from 2009-2012, but the average tech will not catch it, unless you are rocking a secondary tank you will be mostly safe. As stated before though for extra insurance you will get no quarrels from the numbnuts inspecting your car, paint it black then cake it with some dirt and/ or mud. All done, and everyone walks away a winner. :)

    Agreed.

There is no common sense when it comes to California regulations.

I grew up in the Imports scene in CA and went thru hell with the CA BAR over shit like this all the time when doing motor swaps or just ricing out with simple aftermarket parts.

Your tank doesn't stick 5 inches below the frame.

The logic behind it is that if it is not certified through them through CARB, it doesn't make money. It's all about money to them. You gotta think like a greedy government in order to understand their logic. Lol.

    Sub'd.

Looks pretty beefy but looking at the pics, does the top of the tank span across the driveshaft? Looks like an aux. fuel line that could snag.

Close-ups of that detail and pics of the welds would be nice

Do you have the overflow issues when filling the tank? Or does it fill like stock?

What do you mean "Does not work with Airbag Kits", what does the airbags have to do with a larger fuel tank. I only ask because, i want this tank but I do have the Firestone Air Bags?...Something isn't making sense to me...

i think what he means that the tank goes farther back and will cause interference with the airbags.

OH, ok...got it...although I wouldn't expect the tank to go that far back, it would have to be at the axel...but I understand what he's getting at...Thanks

Price is too steep for a tow tank IMO.

if this was asked before, my bad: Its a bit hard to tell from the pics, but will this play well with the factory e-locker mechanism we've got on TRD OR's? Looks like it gets pretty close to the third member back there....

6inch lift sitting on bilstein coilovers. Lexus is300 studs in front to keep stock wheels, general grabber red letters, nfab front bumper.
Post up a write up. Is this tank for the dcsb? I would love a bigger tank for when I drive to Colorado. I usually pull an all nighter when I do this. Bigger tank would minimize my fuel stops.
