Made the mistake of putting on a no-name cheapie cat before my last smog and it barely passed. A month later it was throwing CEL's. Put on a MagnaFlow cat last month and the darn thing runs like a champ

    I love my Taco!

Sweet. Are you the original owner? If not, how long have you had it? What are your maintenance practices?

I've never had a problem getting a car to pass smog in Cali, but if you don't use quality parts I hear it's a pain.

Full rebuild short of machine work, mean green motherfucker! Lime green block, hand-polished valve cover, and stickers! Too broke for real mods right now. Stonewall is my baby, but he's also a work truck.
    Congrats!
Glad I don't live in Cali. :D I'm sure the Taco would pass a smog test, but I'm just glad I live in a state where I don't have to bother with that crap.
Definitely post pics of your truck!
