To the first part, not mad, just a little bitter I guess. My girlfriend in my senior year and I were pretty serious. It was the best relationship I had been in, and have been in since really. We were a great match. However I was middle class, and her family was upper class (Both parents were huge lawyers and owned a large law firm in Michigan, and were opening a new one in Dallas. Her dad never approved of me, and had even made the comment that he didn't want me parking my car in his driveway. "You can park it out at the curb please. I don't want it beside my Mercedes." Well she didn't care and we spent the last 6 months of our senior year doing things together. She was even my senior prom date. We had plans that she would go to college where I was going. Well after graduation I was in Marine basic and we were writing back and forth. After I completed basic and went back home to visit her, her father opened the door and point blank told me that he didn't want me to see his daughter, and that she was too good "for the likes of you". There was a big argument and he told her right there that if she wanted to go to college on his dime, then she would break it off with me, and that if she didn't she could move out that night and never show her face again. I mean he was a TOTAL dick. We ended up breaking it off because she was not ready to lose the money. So yeah, I am a bit bitter towards many rich people.

Why start a stupid thread only to erase your original post and then erase the thread title later?

Not sure about the original post but I guess it has something to do with growing up in the hood with nothing and being one of the only 10 crackers in a 12 block radius.

It was bad in the 80's and is even worse now (5% cracker population and 97 out of 100 crime rate)

    http://www.bestplaces.net/people/zip-code/wisconsin/milwaukee/53205

While your / my parents may have had the best intentions when they decided to move there and help them if will screw your children up for life.

At least my parent taught me right from wrong and I was driven to better myself in life and not look fro the free gubment handout like everyone around us.

Is having to grow up in the hood and learn street smarts better than living a suburban spoiled life handout blind to the perils of real life lifestyle because you don't want to raise your kids like you grew up any better?

Don't know. I have no kids but I know what I went through and the current generation of "you owe me just because" and the 2nd gen immigrant children whose parents slaved hard to make a better life for their children who have the same mentality need a good ass whoopin with a wooden paddle like we had to endure.

This time out count to 3 nowadays parenting is bullshit.

Nothing a good ass whoopin' won't fix.
