Is the Market really this insane right now? This is a 15k truck with a 5k camper at best, imo.

What would you pay for this?

In world where a dealer is charging $15K markup for a 2022 Tundra TRD PRO, this sadly does not surprise me...

It’s California dollars. So like .6 or .7 multiplier for most other areas.

For 35k, I expect a fully built tacoma with dual case, solid axle, supercharged and all the goodies.

Please don't smoke the bad CA crack

No lies, I have called Sacramento my home for 11 years and just today I had an offer made to me in Bismarck ND. They want me and they keep saying so. I’ve previously lived in Vermont so the cold won’t bother me or the snow. Think I’m gonna bounce. I am beyond tired of the crime, homeless and their filth, loud idiot neighbors, the cost of living, Sacramento heat waves and CA fires, and on and on. Doesn’t feel like home anymore. A chopper was circling last night overhead for almost an hour and I wondered if the armed felon they were announcing on loud speaker and searching for was going to maybe try my window... That would be a fatal mistake. But I don’t want to be anywhere near any of this. It’s depressing. And it’s getting worse.

You won't be the first to leave. There's more leaving than moving in. Even major business are moving....

My cousin in San Jose area has lived there his entire life, tells a story basically the same as yours... Good buddy of mine lives in San Bernardino area, more of the same... Someone in another thread here on TW was defending CA... Stating it's not as bad as the stories... Sad to say, but he's in the minority

Sounds like your cousin and buddy have the same issue, afraid to move. Not bad enough because they're still here. The grass is still greener here I guess....

The bigger the city, the bigger the problem. That's almost everywhere you go.

CA have its own unique set of problem as every state. I was in NYC and it's far worst there than SF. Talk about homeless, garbage, and subway odor. Went to NJ and they have the same issue as NY until I drove to PA.

This right here. No matter where you go it's basically the same. I lived in California for 30 years, it's not as bad as many make it out to be. That said I'm never going back, never, no amount of money short of crazy Zuckerberg money will make me go back.

Definitely. Every state have their own set of issues. My uncle live in tornado alley and talk about moving years after years. But he end up rebuilding year after year and seem to not want to move.

Went to a few country over the years. I would say the only place I would not mind moving to is Japan. Talk about culture differences and how clean it is. Spend some time in Tokyo and with the amount of people living there, the streets are clean and free of debris. Visit Kyoto and it's even cleaner. No gum or cigarette butt anywhere. Super clean subway and odor free. Police there don't even carry gun nor baton.

Even Ca dollars I’d only pay 20k tops. I moved to NV and have no desire to move back. Also, I got fed up with the used market and elected to get a new truck and glad I did. Too many crazy prices

They probably valued the shell the same as like a Vagabond for 12-15k, and priced the truck at 15k too. That’s how they arrived at that ridiculous price.

Though I will not be surprised at all if someone shells out the cash for that. I’ve seen stranger things happen.
