    Too many to list now.
Why do people keep saying this is aluminum? The original linked thread clearly states its 16 gauge steel. Y'all are cray.

I watched this tank being designed, built and installed. A lot of thought and time went into it. The quality and function is exceptional. Yes, the first one was pricey, but the more that are built the more the price will come down, thus the reason for a group buy. If the price is too high don't buy one, no need to bash the product. No different than the other stuff we put on our trucks. You can get crazy with suspension, accessories, etc., we all do what are wallets will support. Some think spending $5k on suspension and another $3k on wheels and tire is insane when you can achieve the same result for 1/2 that, but its cool so we do it. It's all about choices . Good thing there is choices or all our rigs would look the same.

THAT would be awesome... All you need is Depends and you would never have to stop driving.

    Basically. Totally nailed it.

Honestly, if the tank were more mass produced and not so spendy, I would throw one on my rig. I swear I'm always filling up.

Buy one steve, as funds come available for me, I would look at this as a real possibility. I'm BROKE though.

If you got one for me, I could promise tears of joy, gratitude, and the loyalist friend for life but, in this day and age, thats not an acceptable form of payment anymore.

X2... when it's running I'm filling up twice a week.

Not worried about small people strewn around my truck as long as I put their body's in the right places.

    Weight distribution is key.

For anyone with actual interest or questions, read the 15 pages from the link in the op. ALL of the questions are answered and in detail. If your just "trolling" then please step aside.

I would have picked up one of the "Lone Rangers" when I could afford it a couple years ago if I could get straight answers at the time. So far, there was one Canadian (in that thread no less) that mentioned that there were some minor mounting issues but he never snapped pics or posted again after that. Just stated that it was NOT installed due to the time constraints present in his life.

If anyone wants to tackle the "Lone Ranger" project for the rest of us, ARBUSA has 1 in stock right now.

I've been following this since a long time ago. Ever since I got my taco and realized that my range per tank was not where I wanted it to be.
Cut to today, and with the lift, 33s, S/C, extra weight from plate bumper and winch, and pending skids....
My gas light goes off after about 230 miles, which will last me 2-3 days, with my double commute.
I'm very interested in more range, but temporarily broke as a joke, so just subbing for now.

the tank is a good idea...I had a44 gallon tank in my suburban, that was the best thing about that piece of crap...except when I had to fill it from empty... I might b interested, but probably not until my warranty is up, 2 more years...

Too bad Downey Off Road went wheels up. That was a great option and cost ~$500 IIRC.

This one isn't bad. I'd worry more about fuel sloshing around than I would the added weight.
