Looking for anyone here on T-Dubb who specifically runs 35" (315/75/16) on 16" Method NV rims.

My 33" ST Maxx are at about 50% read after just over a year and I'm considering 35s next go around. Just wondering if anyone with my rims can give me their personal feedback on the backspacing and rubbing issues.

Obviously a CMC and fender cutting is required.

How many miles on the current tires? I'm trying to decide if I'm going to run the coopers in 255/85 or go with something else.

I'm eager to hear this also, currently running 255/85 Coopers. I want to move up to 315s and purchase some Methods.

I currently have around 43K on my 255/85 St Maxx tires.

Are you planning to regear also? 35s on the freeway with stock gearing is pretty sluggish.

I just switched to 285 ko2 after 255 st maxx and I'd still like to go bigger. Have you considered 295? (Something like 33.5 tall?)

I'm not in it for wider. I'm in it for taller. Hell if I could get a 35" 255 I would. But only way I can find a 35" tire for a 16" rim is to go 315 section width.

It's all about the ground clearance yo.

    But why?

I really like my ST Maxx tires so far as traction goes (dry and snow). And they're pretty quiet. What I'm looking for is taller.

They're a much longer lasting tire, apparently.

You're well aware of the rabbit hole you need to jump down in order to make 35s fit, so no need to have that discussion - just more work than I'm willing to do. But that's the reason for my the suggestion to stick with the same size..
