Hi all I have a 6" rough country db lift and am going to get 35's next week (315/75/16) and am wondering if I'll have any rubbing issues? Also I'm aware that spacer lift is not the best lift option,so you don't need to tell me lol. Thanks. :D

I had a 3'' spacer kit with 285's. When I installed the 6'' w/35's, I had about the same clearance as before. If you off road any, you will beat the fenders & bumper off of it!! Just regular driving, you will be fine. Mine doesnt hit at all.

I had to trim the cab mount & the bottom corners of the front fenders. Only time there is a rub issue is at full turn, while hitting large bumps.

I had to trim my fenders, and I haven't done the CMC cuz I have spidertrax 1.25 wheel spacers... But when I make some sharp turns I still get some rubbing, and I think I'm hitting the cab mount as well...

I think just some trimming of your fenders and the CMC, and you'll be good to go!

I have a 6" rough country lift with 315/70/17 and I rub on sharp turns which sets off my traction control. I'm having it looked at Monday at my truck shop because I don't see where it could be rubbing. They did another Tacoma around the same time with the same problem....

Thanks guys yeah it looks like I'll have to trim cab mount as of right now with the wheel spacers I have on it rubs when going left through a dip with 33's. Gonna see how the 35's fit without the spacers. It looks like I'll have more room without them

Why do these trucks rub in reverse?!?!?! I have the same freaking problem. I can turn at full lock going forward, while running over a damn rhinoceros and never have an issue, but if I try and back into a damn parking spot it sounds like I am ripping the intestines out of my freaking vehicle!!

None yet but in the works!
I got the 2-1/2 inch OME kit with 35s and it rubs just like a 6inch kit.
I cut the cab mount and trimmed the fenders. It still rubs only at full lock and at full compression but I can deal with that.

What tires did you have prior to the new 35's?

Do you have any current pics of your set up now? Currently you are running 33's on a 6" lift correct?

While in reverse the force of the pull on the turned wheels adds that little bit more movement which is just enough to start rubbing. Based on the amount of mud flap I have worn down its got to be about a 1/4" to 1/2" more movement than while going forward.
