Very nice you’ve not had the above-average issues of 05-06 models, head gasket, leaking timing cover, and cracked frame near driverside motor mount. Impressed you’ve only had to do one CA smog test :p . I see you are on original inner tie rods, U-joints, PCV, and radiator. Impressive. I’m barely at 200K and have replaced those items except the radiator.

No issues like what the 05-06 trucks have had. I've passed more than one smog test, I kept tracked of just one of them, LOL. The inner tie rod was replaced with the steering rack, I just noted it as one and I should have listed it. Still running on the original u-joints. They will get replaced if and when I do the 4x4 conversion. The PCV valve has been changed a couple of times. Both times the old PCV valve was still rattling, so it's not a huge document the service date of the PCV valve for me. I replaced them at the same time I do the throttle body cleaning. I recently replaced the radiator at 326,000 and I see I failed to document it. I did have everything else covered during that service interval though.

    No, it's the 4.0L V6 1GR-FE engine.

If you're looking for info on the longevity of the 2.7L 4 banger 2TR-FE click on the links. He is currently at 1.5 million miles.

    Edit: fixed links

Yes OP, still here and she’s still running strong as my daily driver, up to 472,400, now. I like reading the success of others with the longevity of these trucks

Have you had to replace any emission related stuff (mainly the o2 sensors and catalytic converter)?

Nice! Just hit 189,000 on mine. I've only had to change a water pump and brakes at 100k miles. That's it!

OP - Reason for swapping out water pumps? They start leaking? Outside of that and an alternator - looks like mostly standard wear items (and even then alternator / WP are wear items just a bit more of a bitch to change).

    Love hearing stories like this.

How much did it cost to have the paint on the roof repaired? My clear coat has failed and looks like crap.

Congratulations, a milestone to be proud of.

Something I learned. For one I didn’t know people actually get that amount of mileage out of a set of tires. I thought I was doing pretty good on my current set, about 3 years and 20k miles, need replacing soon. I had one set last me 9 months. What I learned is no amount of tinkering is going to improve my mpg, I simply can’t drive civilized.

I've been procrastinating... p0420 and p0430...I have the new O2 sensors and I need to purchase a cat. I'm also looking to do a 4x4 conversion which would involve re-routing the exhaust hence my procrastination.

The first time the WP was changed, I was losing coolant from the weep hole. The second time I was chasing minor overheating issues, replacing the radiator solved that issue.

Congratulations. Welcome to the 300,000 "k" club! Not a Toyota member, but I put 325,000 and 337,000 on two different Volvo 240 Wagons I owned. They were tired here and there, especially the electrics but I took good care of them and the engine and transmission functioned perfectly. One of them: a 1990 had only 36,000 on it when I bought it; The '93 had 68,000. (so they were really "my cars" even tho' they were pre-owned. ;)) My Tacoma honestly reminds me a lot of them.
