Hello all, I was wondering what the minimum lift size I could fit 35s with is? I would obviously be doing a CBC and potentially fiberglass(if necessary). If anyone has had any experience with 35s with a lift under 3' or 4' please share. I had 35s on my last truck with about 5 inches in the front but don't wanna go that high again. I fully understand that this is not the most practical idea, just curious.

Here’s one thread I like to constantly look at:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2nd-gen-4x4-35s-3-lift-w-o-body-lift.285871/

I’m in the same boat. Getting ready to throw on some 315/75R16 tires soon on ~2.5” lift. Decided I wanted to go fiberglass instead of cutting fenders just for the heck of it.

Also have done the cab mount chop and took a big hammer to the pinch weld, as well as removed the fender liners (because fiberglass).

Obviously not mounted yet but I’ll be able to make them fit after some more persuasion. If I get them mounted before you pull the trigger on new shoes I’ll let you know!

Bilstein 5100s on stock coils, hope to upgrade eventually but they work well for the price

I have a 6" Pro-Comp lift - had 35s for over a year = both front fenders destroyed despite 'trimming'. Also, note I was running 20x12" Fuel Octane rims. Personally, I do NOT recommend 35s. Even trimming the fenders 'all the way' the tyres were rubbing the frame - not worth it IMHO.

Advanced Fiberglass Concepts. Front is 4” flare 3” rise, rear is 4.5” flare 3” rise if I recall off the top of my head correctly

Are you on stock UCAs? Do you plan to fit the 35s without making any caster adjustments?

Sorry, should have included that since it’s quite important. I have SPC UCAs. Current plan is to max out caster on the stock LCA and decide how to work the UCA from there.

I run 2.75 up front with 35s and just hacked a majority of the cab mount away

This is 34" tall tire with Fox 2.0 with drivers side turned about 3 turns tighter on the spring to make sure I didn't have a lean issue. I also have a 1" body lift and Light racing upper control arms set at position D . I trimmed a little bit in the front of the wheel well but mostly some heat gun work. Rear of the wheel well has the pinch weld flattened and no cab mount work done, If I fined some day it rubs on that it will get the mod too but so far it has not. Tires are Maxxis Bighorns 305-73-17 same sticker also says 34-1200-17 I never measured them as it never really mattered once mounted they were mine and my job to make fit. They are mounted on M/T Classic lock 17x9 -12 offset. Rear is TSB springs and a 1" block. Since this picture I have added a tool box for my fishing equip. I guess I am either at or just below 4" lift being I have a Gen 2 Reg CabdNZhCOGfRVaFHEGJyKxynQ.jpg I'm about 2.5" lower than a friend with 6" lift and 315s on 18" which looks to tall to me but its his and he bought it that way

The cab mount is the main problem you have to cut it as far back as you can. The fenders are the easy part.

I run 315/75/16. On 3 inches of lift

Manual , The clutch is not the nicest I have ever owned and I was used to the torque of the 4.0 in my Jeep so I stall it it quite often. I hardly ever go any place that I drive over 55-60 so 5th isnt used to often. This was mainly to replace my Jeep to get to fishing holes. My Ram I gave my daughter since I retired and she got he Masters degree so I don't go far. Compared to my 82 w/22r and 85 w/22re Toyotas with 36's I had back then this seems ok power wise .Only had this for 2 months so who knows what else will happen to it .
