33"s will require some inside fender plastic trimming but nothing much. 35"s will require a lot of trimming to get full flex out of them.

You're gonna want a reciprocating saw, large hammer, and a will to cut and smash a 2016. You'll want to regear too for 35".

I'd stick with 285s. 33" tall and a little narrower than 12.5. Will fit better than a 33x12.5.

Also are you 2wd? If so get a 4" lift spindle and a 2" add a leaf for the rear springs. Should sit about level, and will clear 33" tires fine.

I'd personally stick with 33s, to get 35s like @Blacktacoma23 , you're gonna have to pound a lot of stuff in the fender well in with a hammer, do cab mount chop, and do some careful measuring and thinking with wheel backspacing and caster adjustments. I assume he's done something like this.
Unless you plan on wheeling often and truley think you will need the 35s, 33s will accomplish what you want with less money, and less headache.
