35s rubbing

    ready 3in lift 3in body lift flowmater sub box behined back seats 2 10' mxt subs 1000wat kicker amp K&n cold air
    i just put a new set of 35 on my truck and the tire rubs on my cab body mount when i turn the wheel all the way to the left or the right i was just wondering if it would be ok just to grind down the edge so it didnt catch

    You can do a body mount chop mod. There are threads on here about it. You cut it down and plate it back together. I would have a shop do it unless you a good at welding.

    i was just look where the mud was rubed of i only need to take of a small pice off the corner so wont have to worry about welding it back up

    If you go offroading it will probably still rub though.

    ya i think what ill is cut the small part off them take it out on one of the trails behind my house and see how much more needs to be cut off

    Just make sure you cut enough the first time if youre not going to cap it because if you dont and you go out to test it....its going to do more than rub, it is going to eat your tire and possibly take a chunk out of it :)

    Just cut it, turn your tire and jack it up to see what it is like at full stuff check it out with your tire at different angles. I just did mine. used a cutting wheel and then took it into work to have our welder cap it off. works great!

    i like it made a big diffrence and it was cheeper to get that other 3in rather than going with a 6in pro comp and i was able to mount 35s the only problem with the body lift is if you havnt done it be for its going to take a weeknd to do it
