Unfortunately I have brand new wheels that I can't return. So I'm trying to make them work. Didn't do enough research to see how difficult 37's on a 16" wheel would be. Lesson learned....

I dig the 16 inch wheels. I went 315/75r16 on mine, and it's plenty meaty. Are you dead set on the 37's?

No, not dead set. It seems like a few years ago there were more 36" & 37" options for 16" wheels. But options have dwindled, and now I'm looking at around $1800 for 37's. Thought I got lucky when these popped up https://www.tireswheelsdirect.com/product/falken-wildpeak-a-t-325-80-16/ and were able to be added to a cart. But chatted with CS and of course Out of Stock. Contacted Cooper about these: http://www.rims4less.com/proddetail...=7&PHPSESSID=4221f336905073d33e8a043e899c00d1 not in production since 2011.....

So I'll probably stick with 35's. Unless I stumble upon deal.

Ideally no. But I think those would have worked for me. But odds are I'll be on my M/T 35's for this upcoming season.

I second this^^ Less cutting and rubbing and beating involved too. Looks nice n beefy still, and I didn't lose anything in offroading ability.

I'm probably one of those people that don't need them, but don't want to be in a situation where I wish I had them, and don't. I've done most of the local stuff with 35's so I get where you are coming from.

So like I said earlier, why not go with Maxxis? You can get treps or crawlers in the size you want..

While I 100% understand you have to "Pay to Play" I'm still trying to keep costs down as much as possible. And at the moment I'm balking at $2k for tires. I know many are more than fine with that cost, but since I have another two months before I swap my wheels I'd like to see if I can find a lower cost option. If not, selling my 33's and 35's will still help with the costs if I go Maxxis (but if those Falken WildPeak A/T at $323 per had been available I'd be able to completely pay for the tires selling my old sets). Also now looking at 2 Interco IROK's.

Nailed it. I will say that treps and creepys are the best tires I have ran offroad EVER and they seem ok onroad but also comes with difficulties in balancing, LOUD, flat spot from sitting etc. I will probably never bother with 37s until I decide to SAS

I didn't mind my treps, but I had them on some 16" diy beadlocks and the combo weighed to much for my liking. Ended up switching to aluminum beadlocks and 37 tsl and saving right around 30lb a corner.

So I’ll no longer be able to post in this thread….. :D Found some 36x12.50 16’s for just under $400 per corner. I was aiming for 37’s but these will still be an upgrade/taller tire. And the price point was just right. Super Swamper TSL Radial’s - SAM-89R. Can’t wait to swap them on!

    Tried my 37s on today.
Was able to roll in and out of the garage but that's about it.
    Can't really turn yet.
