You'll need a tranny rebuild at 80k miles, also new diffs every other year or so depending on what you use the truck for.

Edit: Don't ask me how I know.

Why would anyone do a marlin rack when you can do the solo tundra rack without the spindle abomination that comes with the marlin rack

My 35's at full compression with factory fenders and flares. I'd love a larger fender opening with a finished flare, but I don't want to go wider. If I did the RK sport fenders are gorgeous.

Really need a cutout flare for these trucks. :sawzall:

I'm sure the MarRack will be in the same ballpark but the $2k sticker has prevented me from jumping on the Solo. In all fairness though, I didn't even know it existed till about a month ago.

Isn't that what happens to hardcore rock crawlers anyway. I mean the Jeeps on those trails arent even Jeeps anymore.

Isn't the MarRack just a Tundra rack as well, my buddy just bought a Tundra and it looks exactly the same.

Yeah and that's not really smart either. Retrospect taught me the best money you can spend is on a UTV or a buggy. If you already own a Tacoma UTV is the better choice cause you can actually tow it. Buggy's mean car trailers and diesels, which again are big $$$

You're the second person I've seen mention that about the MarRack. Wonder if that's really the case.

Yes, it's a Tundra rack. The Land Cruiser rack is beefier still.

I’m going to see how they act once the larger meats are on. They are REM coated with less than ~5k miles :/ so I’d like to keep them IF possible

Those Pro comps are narrow which helps but they are also tall considering they are made by Cooper. I have their 315 75 16's and they are 34.5" tall mounted on 16x8" wheels not on the truck. I was a bit shocked that they were that tall but the tread width is only 10" inches which is a bit of a bonus for fitment.. That truck looks killer! Gotta agree 37's with glass is the way to go!

Ah. For sure stick with the 4.88’s and try them first. Mine has plenty of power with just the gears. I posted this before but I like the 4.88’s with 37’s better than I did with 35’s. The shifting sucks on the freeway but I’m pretty sure if I’d ever upgrade the tune that would mostly go away.

I’m happy with my pro comps. It’s me second set. First were 285’s. Balanced perfectly with my beadlocks and some balance beads. They are 37x12.50 and like you said the tread is indeed 10”. Diameter was close to advertised too.
