I just have one of their old long travel kits that was designed poorly lol. Their shop is a shit show though everytime I’ve gone.

My other friend who has one of their newer long travel kits has nothing good to say about them either

Just curious, how do you like the 4.88s on 35s? and how come you didn’t do 5.29s? I feel like those that went 4.88s+35s get better mpgs.

Solo is awesome if it’s their xlt kit, tundra rack, or rear suspension parts. Their other Tacoma LT kits are not properly sorted out and come with a handful of issues because they were rushed into production

4.88's are fine on my truck. I didn't do 4.29 because they weren't available 2 years ago. I probably would now.

    Nice info!
I wasn’t looking forward to tubing the pinchwell/footwell sheet metal, but have a feeling that might be necessary. Are you still rubbing on the cab mount? Why not go for a whole relocation? If you find a beefier steering rack replacement let me know:D

I’m running true 35’s and I wouldn’t ever do 37’s or larger on our IFS personally. It doesn’t make any sense and it will be a headache to maintain without constant breakage IMO. @Generaloverland on Instagram (5th gen 4runner) is running 37’s on basically the same truck as ours and he’s always driving all over the country and wheeling HARD. But he’s also always got his front end torn apart in his pics in his driveway. So.... “ tread lightly.” IMO. Just get a true 35”. Your falkens are TINY as far as 35’s go.

There's no point in moding a perfectly capable off-road machine from the factory but it's just fun

This looks like someone just slapped 37’s on for a static picture to be taken. I don’t know that he’d be able to even enter a gas station without YEETing his fenders and tires much less actually wheel the truck or drive it. Could be wrong. Edit - before I look like an idiot (I’m probably wrong but that doesn’t look driveable)
