I was trying to order some hi-lift mounts this evening off the website. After I entered my info to order I was suddenly sent to a screen that my order was confirmed for over $400. Apparently I was charged over $370 for shipping to SC. I was never sent to a confirmation screen or anything. What is going on with this? I am not planning on paying 6x for shipping that I do for a part....

Have you contacted @Pelfreybilt about this? I'm guessing it's a bug on the newly redesigned website. Call and talk to Satin. :) She'll get you squared away I'm sure.

    Welcome to Tacoma World!! :)

Don't fret about the over charge on shipping. I've purchased bumpers, sliders, and fog lights from @Pelfreybilt. I've met them as well - did some 4 wheeling in Moab and stayed in a house with them. Really cool people and I can attest Satin's customer service is spectacular. They won't let you down. :) I'm sure she'll call you back and get you remedied.

They are one of the more respected venders on TacomaWorld too! Lots of folks here do business with them.

I've ordered from them before and had no issues. Wanted to make sure there weren't any know issues with the website that I haven't heard of. Guess I'm the guinea pig on this one...

Just get ready to spend money. LOL

Lots of very knowledgeable people here on this forum. This forum has helped me make a lot of decisions on how to begin my build. And has made me jones for wanting to spend more money too...

If only I wasn't buying a house right now. haha! So much I'd love to spend more money on.

Haha nice! What are you plans so far? And what have you done so far if anything?

Lift and Tires are usually where most folks go first. Looks and function. :) All depends on where you wanna go with the truck though.

Did you click overnight shipping by accident?

Nope, never got an option to click on it. Seems like a glitch in their website honestly. It shows up on the order as "Economy" shipping, but I never selected, nor was given any option before the order was confirmed.

Bone stock at this point. Plan is to get rid of the fugly chrome-ish grill, get the essentials (hi-lift, proper tool kit, roof rack, etc.), then lift and tires. Unlike a lot of people in this forum I actually like my stock wheels so I'll probably go with a set of 255/85/16 and the OME lift from @toyotech and call it a day. Truck is my daily as well so I can't go too crazy with a brand new truck...

    '16 TRD OR btw.

Yeah my SR5 had chrome. Don't enjoy chrome much.

You might compare OME kits with @HeadStrong Off-Road. They got me mine and Marie took great care of me. I think Pelfreybilt does some suspension stuff but I think they do the higher end stuff like Icon or Fox!

I'm running 255/85/16's on my truck. I like them. :)

@Kyitty i've been looking at them too. Honestly waiting (without much hope) that one of them puts the set on sale. Seems to be almost identical in price between the two. #prayforblackfriday

They said earlier this week they were working the bugs out of the new website. The Pelfrey's are a cut above most and will get you set straight. Just hang tight and wait for them to get into the office. Have fun building your rig out!

Did the Pelfrey's get you squared away? :) I figured I'd ask so you could come back and say they did. That way nobody in the future reads this thread thinking the Pelfrey's don't take care of their customers!
