CVs are easy to change til you twist the splined end off inside of the diff or axle tube and have to break out the welder.

Murphy's law should always be taken into consideration with the question "should I?"

I should know with what's to come with my own truck

I've blown up and tore enough shit up with 35s that I have to slap myself anytime I think about 37s.

These trucks really just aren't meant to handle it.

The plan is to put it to use on the trail and not beat on it too hard. I also really like the look of it

30 to 37 is a big jump, in my opinion. In the long run, you'd probably appreciate listening to jbrandt and wulf.

Then the little devil on my shoulder says that 37's are fucking awesome and you should go for it.

Talking smack on them? I'm agreeing with them. Like, the advice in their opinion is sound advice and OP should listen to them.

The only thing I like about this, is the aesthetics of running 37's

Infact, I think in past threads I've read jbrandt speak in regards to 33's doing just fine for most of the hard trails in the areas that you guys live around.

Does she wheel with you? That's awesome that you're running 35's on the wifey's vehicle.

That's why you think 35's fit without cutting. Plus, their probably KO2's which is really a small 34. lol

Then I'd definitely say that 37's are totally overkill. Any trail where 37's are needed, you're pretty much guaranteed to beat on it. hard. 37's are more for guys who "warm up" on the Rubicon. That said, plenty of guys do the Rubicon on 33's, though that takes considerably more skill (and winching).

So how much reliability are you willing to sacrifice for looks?

LOL. I don't. He's got very valid points about 37's. If your on a trail that you really needs 37's on you will be beating the shit out of your rig. I'll be going to 38's soon. Not because I think they look cool but because 35's don't cut it for what I wheel. I make them work but that extra clearance and circumference will help a lot. But I've got body damage and break shit almost every time I wheel. Folks like me are a different use case then 99% of people on the forum.
