3D Metal Dinosaurs! (3 to choose from)

4/9 Update Supplier issues forcing me to go 11 gauge (1/8") for all 10 gauge kits

Wanted to offer a 3D metal puzzle that anyone can put together.

Full welding not required, simple tack welds will hold this nice and tight!

Total height is 21.5" and length at 39.5" and is comprised of 52 pieces, 11 gauge mild steel (so it has plenty of weight).

Dino Kit is $185 +s/h for the 39.5" long version

Pterodactyl kit in 11 gauge is $120 shipped (flat rate to lower 48)

Turn around time 3-5 days as I don't stock large sheets of steel in this gauge and are made to order.

The one shown is up for sale as a welded set, from there I'll make more as the plan is to always have one on hand and ready to go.

 

Do you ever make it down to the Temecula area ? Do you plan on making any other kind of puzzle like this ?

 

With an 8 month old I don't find myself going passed my garage

Tons of inquiries with many questions -

1. Do I have to weld it? What if I don't weld?

You do not have to weld it as the slots allow for the entire thing to be held together nicely. You will want to assemble it wherever it's staying as you cannot lift it without something like the legs falling out (supported by its own weight).

2. Do you provide instructions?

Actually, I do! I've got pictures I found online for the assembly order. Although you can always reach out to me if you need assistance.

3. I lost a piece (or my dog ate one) and now I can't assemble it fully!

Not to worry, I've actually made spares of the smaller parts in the event that someone lost or damaged a piece during assembly and/or welding. Just cover postage and I'll send ya a replacement part or two at no cost.

4. How much does it weigh?

The ~40" long variant as an unwelded kit weighs 13lbs.

5. Will this make me popular?

I can't say for sure, cause this largely depends on the generation Tacoma you drive. Maybe you can earn brownie points by telling others it came from Kwik Fab
