    Predictions -

Will a 2.7L pull this Sago Palm with a tow strap?

I’m not 100% sure either way but will find out before too long!

Pulled out a few different shrubs but nothing quite like that. Worst was an ornamental crab tree that had gone crazy in recent years and was attracting bears. It's definitely fun, but for the sake of your rear windshield, tailgate, and bumper, maybe keep some weight on the line just in case lol.

Just a straight pull without any prep or lift, palm wins.

The only way I have pulled those out of the ground is either with my friend's back hoe or in a real pinch lots of digging around it and a supported farm jack. Even once you get it out of the ground, they weigh a TON. I wouldn't even consider it with any kind of tow strap or chain.

Better start digging if you like your truck the way it is currently.

    Anti climatic.

It walked em easy. I wasn’t going to snatch em. Back up plan was bigger truck.

Son was disappointed I didn’t start with his big block squarebody with 4.10’s. If that didn’t had a diesel F350.

It’s about like shooting a deer, all the work just now is about to start.

Tallwalker - they are heavy, tried to see how heavy the are lifting it with the strap, and they won’t budge. Gotta get the chainsaw out.

Clean that chainsaw afterwards VERY WELL. The acid from palm trees destroys the magnesium.

I wouldn’t use a PRO saw. If you have to, I’d go as far as to strip it down afterwards and clean it.

    For a complete cleaning.

    Remove tank handle.
    Remove clutch.
    Remove flywheel.
    Remove muffler.

Inliners deliver torque well, I was pulling for ya, no pun intended!!!!

TOYOTA…please dammit, design a 5.0 normally aspirated straight 6 for the ultimate truck engine EVER!!!!!!

BTW, The Banana has a stroked 4.7L powerhouse ICE and pulls out stuck rides with strength. Mated with a powerful transmission…it’ll pull an Abrams if it had to.

Just saying Toyota…just saying…(you manual guys would go fucking bonkers)

With all the stupid mindless crap we argue about here day in and day out, it is refreshing to see someone using their truck to yank a fucking palm tree out of the ground!

You Sir have (briefly) restored my faith in humanity.

Palm trees must be super weak. No one pulls trees out of the ground where I live.
