I have an 08 tacoma that i have already installed the 2 1/2in. leveling kit, which in reality actually makes the front of the truck sit a little higher than the back. Im looking to install a 3in. suspension lift on my truck, however the kit is supposed to level out the stance of the truck. Is there any way i can keep the stance i have now with the 3in lift besides simply not installing the rear portion of the lift kit?

How is that possible if you are going from 2.5" to 3" ? You will have a more pronounced gangsta stance.

Welcome to TW. I'm a little confused....do you like the stance you have now (nose high?), and want to keep it, or do you want to level out?

You will need to lift the back, either with an add-a-leaf or a block, in order to level it out.

im looking to keep the stance i have now but get more clearance for the 305/60 bfgs i have on it now as they tend to scrub a little when i turn sharp. the kit i already have on it is supposed to be a 2 1/2in. leveling spacer but i know someone that has the 3in. lift installed and for some reason their truck sits up much higher even though the difference is only supposed to be a half inch.

I doubt the 1/2" more lift is going to help. Might have to chop the cab mount to stop the rubbing with that size. Some have to do that even with 285's.
