guys, everything you have suggested excpet for the body lift WILL change the ride of the truck. they are new suspension components and chage the geometry of the suspension to something differnt than stock. they will change the ride for the better, but they will still change the ride... which is not what the OP asked for.

lift spindles will add height and not change the ride or the geometry of the suspension

a body lift and spindles (if your 2wd) are pretty much your only options. Total Chaos makes a 3.5" spindle which is closer to the height your going for. The Camburgs are 4".

How about bigger tires instead of a lift?

I just did an AAL on the rear and put billy 5100's up front at 1.75 and I like the amount of lift it gave me and didn't cost me much either

nevermind. since you are 4x4, spindles will not work for you.

This with new UCA's. I've been on 4 road trips with mine since the lift with no problems.

Bilstien and Eibach with AAL. Same setup I have. Just need new tires and wheels and I'll be set.

x2 on the uca's! your handling and alignment will be shit without them and your tires will wear prematurely.

I recently put some TC UCAs on with my lift.. amazing. Ahh its so nice to drive now. No more wandering around, no unpredictable darting when you hit bumps on the highway. Feels nice and tight again. We all love that feeling im sure... haha!
