3in leveling kit with strut spacers and add a leaf, bull bar, 2 cube off-road ditch lights, 20in light bar, 4x 6in light bars, painted rear bumper, grill change, new head lights, black out badges, thule roof rack/ amazon roof basket, 17in rims, 245/70R17 AT tires, tri fold bed cover, rubberized undercoating, KYB Gas-A-Just shocks, running boards, new speakers, bluetooth audio, black box MOD.
Hey, Ive got an 07 2.7l 4cyl tacoma with an access cab and I’m planning on adding a three inch lift kit with strut spacers to the front and blocks to the rear. Does anyone have some input or tips for me? I’m new to working on my truck and anything helps. Thanks

    Have you purchased anything yet?
If not hit up marie @HeadStrong Off-Road
    If you have already purchased...
Search for videos or threads on the lift you bought?

Do I need to change out the stock shocks in the rear if I only add a 2inch block?

I would do a full blown suspension lift.

You have a 4 cyl so thats a lot of lift for that truck with spacers and blocks. You will ruin the ride of the truck.

Also the truck is 11 years old. You are almost certainly due for new struts on all 4 corners anyways (should replace every 100k).
You might as well pay for the extra coils and leaf pack and pay virtually the same labor costs as replacing the old struts that need replacing anyways.

Also... understand with a lift on a 4 cyl, you’ll need larger tires. With a lift and new tires you will not be getting to same MPGs as you currently get.

Thanks for all the information I’ll define the take that into consideration with my truck, I’m only at about 75k miles though, the guy I bought the truck from only used it for yard work
