My truck came cursed with this 3M Gold paint protection film (clear bra) that I'm disliking more by the day. The film edges stand out after some rain and help accumulate dirt between washes -- I'd rather have it gone. Anyone willing to share their experience removing this... stuff?

Are you sure you want to remove it? One rock comes flying up and all the headaches for a little bit of a dirt line are worth it as long as it’s on there to protect the paint. It’s awesome stuff..

That said I’d assume just some heat and you can peel it off.

Its just a big sticker. Ive had my 3m on for over 2 years and still looks great. Sounds more like a crappy install job. Go get it redone by whoever installed in the first placeFBB86E99-1965-4700-8DCA-4F6A579AF11C.jpg

Removed the three pieces of awful front end plastic with the help of some hot sunshine. The stuff was strong and peeled off cleanly. It took some elbow grease and patience to pull off the large yellowing hood piece. Extra adhesive on wrapped edges came off with goo gone. Feathered out seam line with polish and wax and looks so much better.
