I just put a pair of Falken wildpeak on my truck last month. We got 10 inches of snow last week but I didnt have to drive in the worst of it since I was already home. The tires worked great on the Black ice and other crappy conditions so far.

The day after I went out to a couple unpaved fire roads with about 6 in of snow and the tires did great on the hill climbs and down hills. I'm happy with them so far.

Those are a dedicated snow tire.

While dedicated snow tires are far superior to an all-season, there’s a separate practice of having a second set of wheels/tires and changing them out twice a year.

These tires with a Three Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol are great for those who need the best in snow performance but only want one set of all-season tires.

If you’d like to make a list of winter-specific snow tires that’d be super helpful too, but it’s probably a top 2 or 3 that every goes to more so than all-terrains and all-season options.

I put a set of Hercules Avalanche X-Treme tires on about a month ago and over the last few weeks we've had maybe four feet of snow fall. They've been great. Has the 3PMSF and is studdable. Just wish studs were allowed here in Wisconsin.

Sounds like a winter specific tire.

I just had a set of the geolander at go15’s mounted on my 4Runner. Only dealt with light snow and ice but I was impressed

I'm trying to narrow down between those, Klever at2, or Pirelli scorpion.

    You get LT version?

I thought so too. I think I'm going to go with those tires. I'll pop in here and leave a review if I do.

Do it for sure! There’s so many polar opposite reviews for tires and tire comparisons it’s hard to tell from reading what’s best ha.

The more user experience on here the better!

Well, I decided to go with different tires instead of the nittos. I went with the Kenda Klever AT2. I will still post up a review here though if you would like. Getting them installed this Saturday.
