@EatSleepTacos recommended the 295’s when I was looking. And yes, I have about 60 acres at my Virginia residence.

That's awesome dude! We're saving up to buy some land and a house. 60 acres is ton of land for activities!

Had one that size trying to get in the house a few years back. I keep taking it out to the woods with a long stick and it kept coming back. It got the 12 gauge treatment after the second attempt.

You sure? 35s seem like a good idea but if I'm honest with myself I think I would have stuck with pizza cutters. Get ready for gears, cutting, clearancing, more cutting, searching endlessly for a good alignment guy, shit mpg, upgraded radiator. It's a rabbit hole your going down and it seems endless. These trucks just aren't made to turn 35s. But damn they are fun!!

i already have 5.29s on order, I have the right wheels for it, and I have a good alignment shop (offroad shop). I need new UCA's so i can push the tire as far forward as possible. My fenders is already cut for the snorkel, and all my armor is steel. I get shit mpg now as it is, so honestly I dont see why I shouldnt. Ill still keep Pizza cutters on the stockers, as winter studded tires. I have another car that gets 45 mpg on a good day. Plus, friend of mine just put 35s on his third gen, and it looks beastly. But hes running long travel with dual shocks up front. He is going to switch to glass eventually, and I may in the long run anyway.

Rob, I have no idea what Im doing, except for the long term. Itll be LT, or Ill get a land cruiser. the fenders dont matter to me, as long as it doesnt look like shit lol

You'll be good as long as it's not your DD. I'm running under 3k rpm at 75 mph with 4.88s. Just be aware 35s are a lot more fun off road than on road lol.

Yup just waiting on the overflow tank now. may have to go to a junkyard for all the odds and ends. Supposedly a taco version in available but the link goes to the FJ version. Everyone says its easy so we will see I guess. My temps are running over 205 degrees on trans and water when I go over 65 so hopefully can get that back down to normal.
