I really don’t know yet. I need to get it home and see how wide it looks. My front fenders are 4” wider on each side than stock and I made my current bed cage 3” wider per side, but this unit is huge and might look dumb if I try to build a new bed to cover it

This would be fun. I saw Matt's video the other day and almost said screw it, I'm going. Then I got the mom phone call.

 

Sucky. I would go, but I'd really only want to go if I could wheel the area. Although, I'm not sure they're letting people wheel that day. Matt was saying they're shuttling people to the site in side-bys. So I don't know. I wonder what the nearest airport is..... A Googling I will go....

 

I think I saw a Dana 40 front on FB market place a couple days ago. My mechanical knowledge stops about there.

Lunch break, mom update. We are working on logistics to get out of the hospital to a skilled nursing rehab center under palliative care. Also looking for hospice that will allow dialysis as it was diagnosed before her cancer was found. All in all, she is doing incredibly well and seems to be taking it in stride. Her pastor will be stopping by to check on her sometime today. We hope to have a bed for her today and get her as settled as we can. Gwen and I return to VA tomorrow. Some her friends are getting together today for a scrapbook / crafting session and see wanted to stay. After all she's done these last few days, that was an easy yes. Seeing Tessa has to wait one more day. I think I've been home for about twelve hours since a week ago yesterday.

 

According to the Google machine, Las Vegas is the closest major airport to where they are. There's some municipal airports, so yeah. Vegas is only a two hour drive.

Either way, I just realized it's next month and not May like I thought. So no-go no matter what.
