Not yet. I do keep looking though. Keep going back to the DRZ400, but it’s still carb’d.. wanna go EFI this time around. Everything I read about the Honda CRF300, states it’s a decent bike but a soft suspension. The KLX300, rates better in both suspension and travel from I have seen. But upgrades are limited over the Honda.

I have all winter to research and look around for possibles. Do want something tho. Not gonna lie, a plated YZ450 would be killer. Hence the looking at the 300 size for smallness and fun.

Agree on all accounts. I was looking at the little 390 duke now that they have an adventure style one, but I don’t know how tall first gear is and if it would like putting in the woods. I would like something that can get me to work some days and is a little fun off road. Husky’s 401 bikes seemed to have flopped in the states and seem pretty cheap to pick up. Pretty sure they are 390 dukes in different clothes. The crf and Klx are far more playful but not sure how they will enjoy running at 65 mph for extended periods of time.

Rite rite. The Husk 701 would be nice as well. But if going that route, an Africa Twin or the Yam T700 comes in to play for money wise. For me I could trailer all day to go have some fun. On your end… the straight aways and higher speeds would need a 500+ to maintain, I would think.

Not to make life more confusing but I’ve been thinking about a 230/250 and the CRF250L looks nice. Tiffany got to hop on a klx110 for the first time and attempted a hill climb unsuccessfully 3x… afterwards she mentioned how we needed to get some play bikes :D

I've got a Honda xr200 that's been beat to hell and back before I got it. I fixed it up ages ago as a quarantine project and and it's super fun. Old Hondas and air cooled 4 strokes are kinda hard to break, which is good for a play bike.

The neighbors got their kid a pit bike and he’s been riding religiously everyday. That may or may not be be fueling my desire to get one as well hahah

I may or may not need to pick your brain for my xr… if I wasn’t so lazy/busy I’d already have one play bike hah. 5DE38776-AB89-43BA-A31E-B1760826A118.jpg

You cats have me toying with the idea of a little pit bike to play with instead of a street legal dual sport. Would be hella fun to play with up at Taskers Gap/Peters Mill. Hell..... Chris already has a small whoops section built in. hint hint. ;):D
