Exactly. Let me see how picking up the new ones goes this weekend and I'll update you. Dude at Harbor Freight said the top box had a scratch on the backside from shipping. He could discount it or order another one. They don't make touch-up paint. I suppose it depends on the discount.

If the FJs have the 1GR and the 3rd gen has the 2GR, then thats only 1 GR of difference. Which means it should fit GReat

Or I could buy an adventure bike for the same amount of money. Speaking of which, sounds like you found one, do tell.

So, I’m a little torn. I want to try a husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and or the ktm 390 because they’re light thumpers that I’m hoping feel dirt bikeish. But I think I’m going to want more power to commute with, so I’m looking at the bigger ktm dukes or enduro. Maybe even an air cooled v twin.

There’s something to be said for a light, quick, hill climbing, confidence (stupidity) boosting and cheap dirt bike.

I keep eyeballing them… I think either option you’ll be fine in… you are Chris after all, it won’t be stock long:rofl:
