    wanna be mods
Upgraded the camper battery from a lead acid 12v 100ah battery to a LiFePO4 12v 200ah battery...which saves me over 5# on the plan to lighten the tongue weight.

    20220916_131637.jpg
A problem was discovered immediately upon placing it in the polymer tongue tool box...got no way to secure it aside from anchoring some eyelet bolts down where the angled tongue frame crossed the box.
    • Contemplating moving it into the front lower cubbie space (cutting out the center divider) and running power down the front corner of the interior floor with the existing 110v and 12v ceiling fan wiring.

    • Considered using some 2x4s to frame around the battery...but have to extend to the side tongue tubing for anchoring as I don't trust the polymer plastic tool box walls.
    • OUR -> Tapping into this threads multitude of perspectives and experience for alternative solutions:hattip:
Also of note, I have four sets of wheel chocks and the tongue jack wheel chock, a set of "Lego" style leveling blocks (for tongue jack) and the pictures tire leveling wedges that were previously/are now stored around the battery.

    Right on.
    Well..

a couple cans of that green spray foam will do the trick. The battery will never move, or come out. Then the box will be unusable.

3/4” plywood cut to fit the bottom of the box with nuts and bolts and big honkin fender washers to hold said wood. Then tie down the batt to it.

a couple layers of that 2” styrofoam cut to fit for l/r and f/b movement. But then you still have the up and down unless you tie it down.

    options are endless.

Nah. Seems to be much farther north and west of where we were. We were in Juneau, but headed south now. Yet another city I get to visit from behind a window.

Anyone have a/c knowledge? Replaced a line on Shannon’s truck. Vacuumed the system and put pag oil in. Filled it to 30 psi LP side (Hp side was about 200 which is too high). Went and got more r134. When I got back and hooked the manifolds up I was around 40 LP and 280 HP. Guess I need to bleed some off now and didn’t need more but guidance would be appreciated.

Is that an instant reading at turn on, or letting it run for a few so the system can normalize? Sorry for the cheesey reply. Been awhile since I’ve played with the AC system in a vehicle.

    Not really

It was at 30 idling with the compressor switched on after a drive. Then it sat for an hour and was close to 50
