    I prefer the Dav-i-cron variant. It's long-lasting. Like a gobstopper.

Greg will get it. Just a matter of time. It's the new flu.

Honestly, I am SHOCKED that I've not had it and have had negative tests when I've been feeling ill/sick/under the weather, and the same for my kiddo and wife. Instead it's been sinus infections, upper respiratory infection, common cold, norovirus (thanks daycare), hand-foot-mouth...just what comes to mind over the last 1.5 years.

I was in the same boat. Without the child-germ-vector diseases. Even when I felt my worst, I tested negative. It wasn't until my fever broke and I felt marginally better that I finally tested positive. Then continued to test positive for almost two weeks. And that was with the Pax Lovid.

Talked to these guys today about a transmission controller. Super helpful and knowledgeable. They developed a trans controller with Bluetooth paddles for the a750 transmission and are hoping to have a production kit early next year. Their prices seem very fair and their products look sweet. I’m eager to see what they come up with.

Unfortunately, we missed the closest American Rally Association races that are closest to us, but would anyone be interested for next year? There's two races close to us. One near Bristol, Tennessee and another in Westboro, Pennsylvania. Amazingly, both of them are the same distance/time from me. This year the races happened in May and September. Any future interest for next year?

If you've never seen a true rally race, you are missing out. You're are typically roadside as the cars go blasting past, drivers and cars are much more accessible for fans, and these are arguably the best drivers in the world.

I would tend to agree with that choice. I signed up for emails, so hopefully this series is better about emailing than then last series. This year, the race was in May, so hopefully they'll keep the same schedule. Maybe I'll even have a new-something to break.

Tossing it out to the wife...when she and her brothers were teenagers, the family would run down to the bike races down in Martinsville/VIR. I'd love to make it work and knock it off the :bucket:list...update to come
Heading out for a Halloween campground outing with the family and my BiL and his family. Excited to experience the difference in how the S.S. Taco does pulling the camper after the tune, though we won't go over Afton Mtn.

So for rally racing, you hang out at a good section of the stage and watch the dudes run through. It's much different then going to an established track to spectate. The tracks are linear and the races are run on unimproved or barely improved roads, so watching the entire race is kind of impossible. I like to hang by the start or finish line for a bit then go find a good tail-out corner to watch. For me it's more about hanging out, seeing the cars in the pit area and possibly talking to a driver or two.

Tell your wife it's a now or never thing! This is the third or fourth time a sanctioning body has tried to float rally in the United States. Currently, the next closest is Guanajuato, Mexico! FIA has been talking about bringing a WRC race here, but I'll believe it when I see it. And even if it happens, it won't be close to us.

Is there a budget or stock class? I knew some guys when I was young that did local rally races in NH and they had some old Hondas on knobbies they raced.
