Honestly wish I hadn't bought it when I did, or rather had picked up the skid steer first, then just picked up one that works on the skid steer...the truly lazy man's way of splitting wood! Drive machine with splitter attached, position it above the log, press the button enough to grab the log, drive to the split wood pile/end location and push the button again and then the other button to retract the ram/release the split wood!!

I would offer to purchase it, but I'm almost out of wood to split.

Both of those machines are overkill for what I have! I'm just lazy and suck at doing it with an axe.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I kinda miss the work out. The former house had a wood burning fireplace (which I miss). Shortly after that shot my dad gave me a bunch of maple logs, probably about two cords. I learned it splits easier when frozen.

Let me know if you change your mind, looks like I should start splitting more with these freezing temps. We’ve been splitting logs on the property that were cut more than 2yrs ago. Lots are filled with little white bugs and very disappointing to split.

I’m going to try to wrangler up the last of the parts this week and try to take advantage of Black Friday deals. I think I’m going with 37’s:(

Setting them up off the ground makes some difference, if only in staving off wet rot, but wood bugs are gonna get to it eventually.

It does suck to throw a log on the splitter and half it just mush and not crack! I just cut and split the last bunch from the 2020 wood pile in the backyard. I'd say it's at least half a cord. Majority will be ready to burn after a month in the wood shed, but some was still wetter inside and others were wood bettle rittled and spongy, aka crumpled.
Look at all that space for various activities!!

If you are willing to swap your 5.3 v8 for my 4.0 v6, I’ll consider 40’s
