Change your phone number and block the email and social media for a while. I did that with a few extended family members and my brother. The break was good for all of us.

 

Went to dinner at a bar called the Green Lantern not far from the hotel. Continually voted one of the best pizzas in the area. Looked at the beer list, Strohs! Fired brewed Detroit original. Going to see if I can find a case and bring it to the gathering.

 

It has been a very fluffy week in dog-sitting business.

I took all the “performance” stuff off the buell and put it back to stock. I got an exhaust valve servo and factory air box and hope it gets rid of the dead spot. The red line on this chart is exactly what I was feeling. And I think it was because the valve was disabled. I even got the ecu to actively reduce noise with the valve.

Glad to hear your getting it sorted out. and that is a weird spot for the throttle controller.

It’s a servo for the muffler baffle. I guess it regulates back pressure and helps build power in the mid range. I wish it wasn’t freezing out so I could go see if it fixed dead spot above 3500 rpm’s.

Agreed. Have always wondered about the GasGas, kinda like the Beta. That contractor guy I know (British) used to race a Beta 250. Dude is in his early/mid 60’s. And apparently has won a couple hare scramble championships over the years, here in Va.

 

Gas Gas is now owned by ktm but I only ever saw GasGas was trials bikes before the merger. Betas are cool. Definitely have that exotic factor.
