Hey Chris,could you pm me the address to your place? I may have next Saturday free to drive down and hang with you guys for a while. Cabinets are being delivered Thursday for a kitchen remodel, but I'm not sure if I'll start work on it that Saturday yet. Would be good to see y'all

You should warn Andrew that that truck likes to break at your house. And/or makes you jump things.

 

Part of my problem in looking at vehicles is the prices of stuff. And my inability to decide on anything. My first decision is that I don't want another Tacoma. It's a been there, done that kind of thing. I have been leaning heavily toward a 4Runner. Then I see the prices and do the math and be like, "I am not making those kinds of payments on a used vehicle!" Maybe if I were independently wealthy. But if I get over that hump, it'd be a 19-22 TRD Off-road Premium in silver. White would be better, but we know how that turns out.

I've looked older but feel like I'm just inheriting someone else's garbage. I thought about something cool AND old but have a feeling I'd regret it. "We're going to Uwharrie this weekend." "Can't because this old AND cool vehicle I bought is broken again and I'm waiting on parts to come from Japan."

 

I'm putting a plank of wood in the passenger seat so I can knock on it constantly while saying, "It'll be fine".

 

Prices are still stupid high. Every now and then I see a deal on something and I consider buying it just because it’s seems like an honest price.

 

And these prices are supposed to be back to normal. In my model year range, they're running $40-44k. Brand new these things cost in the $48k range. I did find an '18 for $35k ish, but it concerns me that the thing has been sitting at this dealer for almost a year. And the dealer is kind of shady.
