Anyone ever tried to break a tire bead at home? I'm about to try this on the Matrix and the method I'm using may be somewhat sketchy.

Can always use a spare canopy! Might come in handy if the weather changes again.

Yes, with one of these are you putting mud tires on the matrix?

Having used the smaller version on riding lawn mower tires, my method may be safer.

I'm not trying to fully dismount the tire. Just enough to get a TPMS in.

I'll see what I can do. The case isn't as big as I thought and I'll be traveling as light as possible.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I can also pack a 10x10 and have a detachable awning for the truck I can throw in.

MAPS - If you have satellite maps in your ride you should be good if your maps are current. Mine takes me to the wrong driveway, but it gets me there and out.

    Just a thought….

You could stick one of them old body panels off Shannons truck at the entrance, If you still have ‘em.

Dave fails. Broke the bead loose. Could not wrangle a new TPMS in. Looks like I'll go old school until I need tires.

I'm hoping for a Tacoma skeleton made from sticks with the old parts hung in it.

I was just thinking the same thing. Or a wind chime with the panels.

Let's be honest. The last two years haven't been mine.

I missed that one completely. Curtis Loew (Lynyrd Skynyrd) came to mind. Lots of Eric Church on board lately.
