Today I discovered that the same company owns Revzilla, Cycle Gear, J&P Cycles, and Rever (mapping/routing software).

Edit: Just did a quick run down that rabbit hole. Turns out the guy that did a lot of the product videos I watched early on was a co-founder. He always struck me as kind of a Philly meathead, but boy was I off. Way off. Good on him.

No. I'd like listings for bikes I explicitly state I'm not interested in.

I realized that a little while ago when I realized how similar Revzilla and Procycles websites are.

If I trusted my welding skills more, I would give it a go. I think I would opt for a larger foot. Can't see the site at work because apparently it's dangerous so I don't know what comes in the actual kit.

Same on the wider foot, and I have no welding skills. I would think that a jack for a full size camper would be needed. I don't think the one on our old pop up would be enough, but I'm just guessing at that.

I'll buy when you buy. Maybe I'll actually get a bottle and attempt the welding myself.

Which version do I want? They say it’s the light version but then the video says it’s for heavy vehicles

Part II: the "lite" version doesn't seem to refer to capacity. Seems it refers to the lift lip deal? It also seems that version can work with another trailer jack that has a larger body, but the same capacity.

Lastly, I'm not so sure they're as great as they seem. Help me think it through. In the video the dude mentions it not having a long extension. So say you're trying to fix a flat. It may not extend far enough to get the tire off the ground. The video dude was locking his suspension with a ratchet strap.

I see what you mean. I would really like something like this to lift the rear of my truck.

You might have way too much droop for that. I looked at the Motor Trend article and they're using it on the bumper of a Cherokee to change a tire. Not quite the same, but curious.

The video said that it has a 51" lift capability, but only 15" of travel. You able to adjust the lift point for the point on the vehicle you want to lift. On my truck it would probably be ok. I'd still want to use a wider base under it like you for the high lift. And he is using an 8k lb jack in the video.
