Not to domesticate them. Called a "wildlife removal service." Of course they were closed when I found out, so the waiting begins. And I hope mom isn't in the back yard when I take Tessa out after work.

Skunk removal peeps arrive 0800 Thursday morning. Took Tessa out the back door tonight (Wednesday), and 15 feet from the door she stops and starts growling at...

Very bright flashlight search was negative for eyeballs or animals, so we proceeded with caution. Tessa and I came in. She went to bed and I changed my undies.

 

My motivation dance for work, is not working today.

 

How do they “remove” the skunks without getting sprayed? Or is that inevitable?

This is very true. The random wind gusts yesterday were fun working in the bucket. We were back on the ground working off the rear bumper on a fiber outage. A good gust came thru and the next thing we know…. The fiber is shaking in our hands, power poles are shaking as well. Then the boom of something. All this happened in a split second, only to see the top 20-30 feet of a tree blocking the road a good 200 feet in front of us.



Fun day it was. Haha

 

At least it wasn’t boring

 

Bait some live traps, cover them with a heavy tarp to avoid the spray when they come get them. So I've been told.
