Since this is your daily...... No.

Are you replacing because the one in there is going? Are you future planning?

If you don't plan on going crazy, I would go with this one: https://mountuneusa.com/products/xc...rung-organic-disc?_pos=3&_fid=465ea166d&_ss=c

If you plan on getting busy with the Cheez-Whiz, I would say this one: https://mountuneusa.com/products/ac...us-strs-2013-2018?_pos=4&_fid=2ac5824f9&_ss=c

This is just me looking through stuff quickly. If you go with the ACT, I found it a little cheaper in a few places.

I don’t understand the negativity towards aluminum flywheels. I’ve used them in a Miata and 300zx and never had anything but quick revs and good times. But I see everyone saying they sound like a can of bolts. Not sure if it’s just the rs or all vehicles

I don't have anything against them. I don't understand how a flywheel would make noise? Isn't that the clutch springs?

I was looking at drivability and NVH mostly when I was looking at those. Trying to drive a multi-disc clutch everyday just sounds miserable to me.

Edit: Nevermind, I see what noises they're talking about. It's not what I would describe as a can of bolts, but what do I know?

Possibly. No telling what people will do these days. Maybe the previous owner was in a hurry when it came to leg day and only wanted to take the time to exercise his right leg.

So single mass steel is ok but not aluminum?

For the RS it sounds like it. A good middle road.

It's what the people on the Internet told me?

You lose the chatter of aluminum, and lose the rev-hang with a lighter single mass in steels. Or at least that's what I'm understanding.

    Did you get the Brannick?

No the weather forced me to come home and tend to down trees and a forest fire. I’m hopefully going to get it today.

Tending to forest fires is important stuff. I had to do the same thing.

I'll just add this image to Chris' idea board.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
Sounds like a Saturday project. (After the truck is done!)

You guys good after the fires yesterday? Heard there were evacuations in the area.

It was a super deal and perfect timing. You reminded me I needed to quit playing Russian roulette with my crappy spring compressor. Have you ever seen the webbing or strap style compressors?(I’ll try to find a picture)
