How’s the “new” old rig been treating ya?

There’s always one …. if you want to see inside me you’re on the wrong website

I’d only call you a weirdo if you didn’t sing a ride! Totally unrelated - what do you call this hand signal :headbang:?

Bull horns? Devil horns? Rock fist? I’m definitely uncertain of the proper terminology

Live and learn - I’ve learned some folks don’t like the hand signal and that the thumb out means I love you in ASL… which is what I’ve been signaling to all my favorite bands over the past decade

How’s your bike been doing lately?

Lonely. But the weather this week looks great, so it will get some miles on it. I see you have a KTM now! Which one did you get?

If Ronny James Dio was still around he would tell you it was him who invented it and his fans would reply in kind. Beavis and Butthead especially.

Now Longhorn fans would argue and tell you it's their show of support for their team.

Guess what I'm getting at is, the hand gesture is what you want it to be.

I ride a 24 350 XC-F (Thumper) and Tiffany races on a 23 125XC (2T). Completely different, engine and suspension wise, but both equally fun. Kinda surprised you bike doesn’t have knobbies on it yet lol… or does it?

I have a set for this one. It’s pretty compliant on gravel without, but I may have to toss them on at some point. IMG_5715.jpg

Adventures in car sales: I listed the Matrix on Marketplace last night. You can imagine the demographic it's attracting. I'm thinking about adding the below to the text of the ad.

    1. People, read the entire ad. I have explained that the car has had a cheap respray in its history and it doesn't hold up to a close-up inspection. I kid you not. "How's the paint? Any scratches?"
    2. I am not a dealership and will not be providing you with a CarFax. I will give you the VIN and you can pay for it yourself. "But sir, you have to provide the report." And he keeps saying this over and over. Even if I was to provide one, I'm not spending $50 on one unless you commit to buying the car.
    3. Do not haggle with me before you've even seen the car.
    4. Before you argue with me about what the car has or doesn't have, do your research. I can assure you the car does NOT have a timing belt. The internet is full of references for your searching pleasure.
    5. My schedule is my schedule. Do NOT ask me to accommodate you. If you're not willing to work around it, you're not that interested in buying the car.

The dude with the CarFax was relentless. He kept telling me I HAVE to give him one. I kept saying no and he was like let me know if you get one over and over. And had the gall to say I'm waiting. He got blocked. And I got a good laugh.

Those were the types I didn't care if I upset or not. One guy in Walmart said that his taxes kept our store open. I told him he his economies mixed up and asked him to leave the store. He said he didn't have to because it was public property. Wrong again dude. Due to the kid problwe had, we had it posted that it was private property and failure to adhere to the rules could find you banned from the property, with the local ordinance. When he was outside reading it I shut and locked the door to send the message. I don't miss that retail atmosphere.

I coulda swore your bike was less … red before lol. My Ducati has a much harder time off road. What tire did you end up with?

We have the same bike! It has Michelin pilot roads on it but came with a set of continental twinduros. Thank you, concrete has been a game changer. IMG_5733.jpg
