    THAT, I can do.

$$ man. On that note, not sure whether to keep or remove the predator steps. Maybe sell them for a proper Nerf bar/ skidplates?

Get 255s! You know you want 33s and you don't have to do anything to fit them. Thank me later.

Or, you know, just show up the way it is. The wranglers work fine. It's an "offroad" truck. Mine did fine at LBL stock, and you'll be surrounded by people to pull you out if you get stuck. It's probably cheaper to learn what you *need* before you buy what you want too.

Also, yeah, get rid of the predator steps. They provide NO protection. You can probably look at one hard enough to bend it.

No steps, sell them and buy sliders. Your rocker panel will thank you.

Duly noted. I might be able to leverage the old steps into some proper tires/bars to get in cheap.

No bars, of any kind. If you want to wheel. You need sliders

Lift gets you up out of harms way. And creates clearance.

    Taller Tires give clearance.....

Ground clearance is where it's at.

Lift AND tires THEN sliders.....in that order.

If I was to go mud tires I'd go with the stt pros as Bill said, but for an AT tire you won't be unhappy with either of those choices. I will recommend the ST Maxxs because they are a good hybrid between AT an a mud terrain.

12,300 miles since I put them on. Measured wear just shy of 3/32"nds so far. Pretty even all over. STT Pro's will wear out faster than a typical AT, but they seem to be on target to exceed 50,000 at minimum, possibly well beyond that. Ride is as good as any AT I've ever had, better than most. They're quieter than the Good Year Dura-Tracs I had. (by a wide margin) No vibration, balanced well. Impressive performance off road. Nowhere near the hit I was expecting on gas mileage. If I was to buy another set of tires tomorrow, it would be another set of STT PRO's.

    I average around 40,000 a year.

I have the PROs as well and love them. If I was going at I'd get the maxx's for sure. Some guys are getting 65k out of them. When I get 35s those might me by choice
